Where joy swirls, knowledge unfurls

About the Author

Hi, I’m Willomi K., a pen name created from my son’s name ā€œWilliam,ā€ my name ā€œNaomi,ā€ and the first letter of my husband’s name.

I’m a pediatric nurse and am now a children’s book author, inspired by my imaginative little boy who loves reading and storytelling. His creativity encouraged me to pursue my lifelong dream of writing and illustrating books for children.

My debut, The Honest Child and the Greedy Neighbor, was inspired by the Korean tale of the three axes and teaches the value of honesty in a simple, magical way.

Most recently, I published Elly’s Hanbok: Best Wishes in Every Color, a story that celebrates Korean culture, family love, and self-discovery through the eyes of a curious child. It marks the beginning of a growing collection meant to introduce Korean traditions to young readers through engaging stories, thoughtful messages, and a sense of wonder.

I hope to continue creating stories that help children feel seen, inspired, and connected—while discovering something new about themselves and the world around them.
